A Note from Our Home to Yours

Hello and welcome!

If you had told me a few years ago that I would be running a store dedicated to sustainable living, I probably would have laughed while wiping down my kitchen counter with a third paper towel.

In fact, Mindful Terran actually started with that exact roll of paper towels. One day, I decided to try removing them from our home altogether. Honestly, I braced myself for a household revolt. Instead, once we made the switch to reusable cloths, we barely missed the paper rolls at all. It was such an easy transition that it got me wondering: what other single-use products could we ditch?

That single question sent me down a path of finding sustainable alternatives that create a better, healthier home without feeling like a compromise. Along the way, I realized something important. Living an earth-first lifestyle does not require achieving zero-waste perfection overnight. It is really about making small, simple changes that add up to a massive positive impact on your home, your family, and your community.

Here at Mindful Terran, we do not just pick items out of a catalog and hope for the best. Our selection process is simple: we only share products that we actually use and find valuable in our own daily lives.

And when I say "we," I mean the whole family crew. Running this business alongside me are my 14-year-old son and daughter, who serve as our official Product Experts. Because they are real teenagers living a busy, messy, full-speed family life, anything we bring into the house gets put through the ultimate durability test. If a sustainable swap cannot survive two 14-year-olds, it does not make it onto our site.

We also have my 8-year-old on the team. To be completely honest, he is not much help when it comes to the actual work, unless making messes for us to clean up counts as product research. However, he is undefeated at providing moral support, keeping us laughing, and reminding us why driving this mission for the next generation matters so much.
